BOSU Sports Conditioning Skiing & SnowboardingThe BOSU Sports Conditioning Series is based on the well-known and innovative sports conditioning techniques developed by Peter Twist of Twist Conditioning, Inc. These linked system techniques, incorporated with the BOSU Balance Trainer, have helped many college and professional athletes improve their game and they can do the same for you! You will need the following equipment to do any of these workouts: A 4, 6 or 8 pound Toning ball, BOSU Balance Trainer, Resistance Tubing with door attachment, Toning Balls and Resistance Tubing Skiing and Snowboarding with Douglas Brooks ( TRT: 54 minutes) Learn movement skills such as balance, core strength, quickness, dynamic flexibility and power that can make a big difference in your on-snow performance and overall enjoyment of the sport - Section I: Balance and Equilibrium Warm-up. Learn balance, equilibrium and weight transfer skills that will help you move in and out of turns on the snow and adjust to variable snow conditions.
- Section II: Multi-Directional Movement. Develop fluid, whole body movement control that allows you to move efficiently in all directions skills import for linking turns and achieving control throughout a line of travel.
- Section III: Neuromuscular Activation. Learn to achieve a high level of muscle and brain connection. This section prepares you to ride or perform all out.
- Section IV: Quickness and Agility. Improved quickness and agility can help you make quick, successive turns through challenging moguls, when doing jump turns on deep snow on steep slopes or when exploding out of the pipe.
- Section V: Athletic Strength, Power and Core. This segment will help you build the endurance and power capability for sustained performance and successive days on the snow.
- Section VI: Flexibility. Stretching can help you improve performance, avoid injuries and allow your muscles to relax and recover after a challenging workout.
